Even though we make this kit available to parents of children ages five and above, few children are ready to fully understand the gospel or make a faith decision at such a young age. Use this material to prepare yourself to be ready when your child expresses interest. We’ve included a guide that offers practical tips and what we consider the best resources on the topic. We believe our mission as a church is to go and make disciples. We believe this disciple-making process begins in the home, involving parents and grandparents teaching their children and grandchildren. Our church process for making disciples is Encounter, Equip, & Empower - Encountering God, Equipping Believers, and Empowering Ministry. In the home, this involves parents and grandparents leading children to encounter God. They should also be equipping children as believers once they have reached that point. Children should likewise be empowered for ministry, having a solid faith of their own as they launch into the adult world. The FAITH PATH is a vital resource to help support this process of disciple-making within our homes.
